Artists and organizations from across Chicago are coming together for the second annual These Are Not My Problems art gallery show, an evening to remind us that our brothers' and sisters' suffering is our own suffering. Their issues are our issues. If one is oppressed, all are oppressed.
8th Day Center for Justice and the Young Adult Council proudly presents These Are Not My Problems, a one-day exhibition that aims to break down the walls that separates people from the awareness of injustice in their midst. On August 21, we invite you to experience inspiring and moving expressions of art on the theme of racial justice. The show’s goal is to promote a dialogue around racial oppression that continues to be ever so prevalent in our country.
