Soundscape Making Workshop 1-3PM
Public Media Institute, Lumpen Radio and Yollocalli Arts Reach present a free media workshop on April 26th at 1pm. This workshop will show you how to make soundscapes- dreamy, irreverent, poignant, funny audio pieces using simple technology, as well as provide basic tutorials for sound editing software and equipment.

Space is limited to 15 participants, equipment will be available to use during workshop but you can feel free to bring in your own laptop. If you prefer to bring your own laptop please download the following software: garageband and/or audacity. RSVP at Loganbaybay@gmail.com

Micro Power transmitter Workshop • 4-7PM
Brett Ian Balogh will lead participants through the process of making their own micro-power FM transmitters in this 2-3 hour, hands-on workshop. Participants will solder together a circuit designed by performance artist Tetsuo Kogawa while being introduced to basic electronics theory and the use of the electromagnetic spectrum as an artistic medium. Each participant should bring a source of audio such as a phone or media player with a standard 1/8” headphone jack.
